The past few days I’ve been sick. That type of sick where you just feel yucky, your sinuses feel swollen and you’re just so tired. I’m rounding the corner, and thankfully Cody and W haven’t caught it (yet). I hate being sick and I thought this is the prime time to share my sick day tips.
When I’m sick I shower in the hottest water possible; come out looking like a lobster hot.

These shower pucks are awesome. They help open your sinuses without the goopy mess of Vicks. If I am really congested or coughing I’ll put Vicks on the bottoms of my feet and put some socks on while I sleep. (Beware: this may stain your bedsheets)
This drink recipe got me through Covid while pregnant with W:
2 parts Orange Juice
2 parts Carberry Juice
1 part Pineapple Juice
1 part Ginger Ale
I wish I was joking when I say that I drank this by the pitcher.
And when possible I sleep it off. Monday I was awake for a total of 3 hours, I woke up feeling a bit better on Tuesday, and today I’m feeling a lot better.
Hopefully you won’t have to use these tips anytime soon.
